You Will Be

  • Writing and optimizing press releases with our client’s brand voice based on provided content
  •  Creating original website copy, meta descriptions, title tags, and photo captions for a large hospitality client while following strict brand guidelines
  • Engaging in brainstorming sessions to create content for other clients in Wpromote’s vast portfolio  
  • Learning the basics of SEO and how they fit into the content creation process

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, digital marketing, or related field
  • A writing portfolio with print and/or digital samples
  • Ability to write creative, concise, smart, and SEO-friendly copy for an established brand voice
  • A fundamental understanding of how to write for the web with communication skills effective for various audiences
  • Working knowledge of website usability and web best practices
  • Strong grammatical/writing skills with an eye for detail and a style that maximizes web content usability and accessibility. Knowledge of AP style a plus
  • Ability to stay organized while multi-tasking and working with tight deadlines
  • A working knowledge of Google Suite
